A tutti-frutti giardinetti brooch, with assorted oval mixed cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds, all four claw set in yellow collets. Silver leaf sprays between, set with old cushion-shaped and circular eight cut diamonds, with a triangular diamond, claw set at the top. A circular cabochon ruby, rub set at the bottom of the spray to a moulded green glass urn, with a graduated baguette cut diamond plinth, all rub set in platinum. A pair of George III style satinwood and polychrome painted half-round commodes, late 19th Century, in the manner of Wright & Mansfield, with tulipwood crossbanding and burr walnut borders, each decorated with floral swags, ribbon-ties and trophies above a frieze of laurel meanders flanking a central panel with Classical urn and acanthus scrolls, the door medallions depicting courting couples, the sides with oval roundels of flowers in vases, all with wheat sheaf borders, set on tapering square gated legs, 121cm x 48cm x 98cm /Note: This pair of commodes has been on loan to Hanbury Hall, Worcestershire (National Trust) since 1993 /Provenance: Essex Leila Hilary French and thence by descent. Essex French (1907-1996) she was included in Cecil Beaton's 'Book of Beauty' (1933) as one of the French sisters and later became Viscountess Monsell of Evesham, /see illustration Condition Report: Noticeable but not severe ring stains to both tops other stains and scratches acceptable with age, cupboard door panes both with craquelure but side panels fine, small piece of moulding missing to the base of one cabinet scratches and stains throughout acceptable with age, slight scuffing to feet.
A Pair of George III Silver Candlesticks, Nathaniel Smith & Co, Sheffield 1800, with urn shaped nozzles and tapering stems, wrythen fluted decoration and gadroon borders, detachable sconces (one a Victorian replacement), filled; and A Pair of Associated Old Sheffield Plate Three Light Candelabra Branches, 53cm high (4) Marks with some expected wear but generally clear to base rim. Detachable sconces marked, the replacement Robert Hennell, London 1842. This example with large knock to rim. The candlesticks with some general knocks and wear. Branches stand mostly straight and level, one or two sitting slightly off the horizontal.

A 19th century patinated bronze twin handled urn, the gadrooned, everted rim over a body of compressed globular form with twin upswept handles, both sides with classical mask and twin rampant lion decoration, on a pedestal foot with egg and dart border, on a square plinth base with ogee feet, 10½in. (26.5cm.) wide between handles, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high.* Condition: No noticeable damage, the only imperfection being a deposit of limescale over the inner metal lining of the piece. Good patina.

A Continental gilt copper box, late 18th / early 19th century, oval form, the cover depicting a Nereid on a sea bull within ribbon scroll border, the sides with figural scenes including Bacchus, 3¼ x 2 5/8in. (8.25 x 6.7cm.); together with a bronze miniature covered urn, with mid-brown patination and eagle surmount, 5in. (12.7cm.) high. (2)* Condition: - Box: Some wear to gilt throughout, most notably to cover, showing copper beneath. Small indent to top edge of box and probable rectangular soldered repair to underside.- Urn: Good condition. Probably originally on a marble or similar base, as there are threaded holes to each corner of pedestal.
