A 19th century Russian brass twin-handled ogee samovar and stand, fluted and lobed reservoir, lift-off cover with everted neck pierced with stars, cylindrical chimney with turned ivory handle, scrolling handles, lotus-capped pedestal, incurved square base, foliate bracket feet, circular slop bowl en suite, the urn 67cm high, stamped G.P. within a rectangular lozenge, c. 1840 Condition Report: Each twin-handle turning either side of the reservoir are in-keeping replacements. One handle scroll support is currently loose. The tap is also loose but present and the repair would be clean. Surface wear and some light bumps commensurate with age and use.

Judaica Interest: 1920s silver Hanukkah Menorah nine-light candelabrum with foliate branches and fluted urn-shaped stem on a circular pedestal base (London 1922), maker's mark distorted. All at approximately 24ozs, 33cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Surface is badly tarnished but appears to be undamaged, although there is some surface wear and scratching. Arms are slightly distorted and one candle holder is detached but present. Pilot candle holder or snuffer is missing. Some drip trays are distorted. Maker's mark has been double-struck but possibly Sigmund Zyto S.Z.
