The drum case having an ornately cast gilt bronze dial inset with enamelled numeral cartouches beneath a convex glass door with a bevelled edge and lobed border. The raised pedestal top surmounted by an urn with flame finial above lavishly scrolling sides bearing caryatids festooned in garlands of bell flowers. The break front elongated oval base centred by a cartouche and raised on flared pedestal and paw feet. 17 ins (43 cms) in height, 7½ ins x 23½ ins (19 cms x 62 cms). The matching electrified candelabra having four lights with white opaque glass candle-form sheathes. The s-scroll branches enriched with foliage above flared & fluted columns; the bulbous centres applied with female face masks wearing feather head dresses. An Exuberant Louis XVI Style Cloisonné & Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock, having an eight day movement striking a bell. The cloisonné dial set in a round cushion-front case with a gilt brass beaded border surmounted by an urn finial elevated on square column and flanked by winged caryatids; their torsos rising from lavish scrolls of foliage with voluted terminals. The flared rectangular cloisonné pedestal adorned with a satyr's face mask above a break- ended plinth base raised on gilt bronze acanthus leaves terminating with lion paw feet, 20 ins (51 cms) in height.

A marble and ormolu mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the backplate stamped with the mark of the roulant blanc maker 'Etienne Maxant, Paris', the white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, Arabic outer numerals and signed by the maker 'Briant a Paris', with decorative pierced and engraved gilt brass hands, the ormolu pillar case having classical female figures draped either side, with various ormolu mounts and a frieze to the front depicting putti within a scientific setting, surmounted by a classical urn, all standing on a white marble base inset with further ormolu mounts, height 57cm. * Etienne Maxant is recorded as working at Rue de Saintonge, Paris, in the mid 19th century.

A French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the blue porcelain dial having black Roman numerals, spade hands and signed 'Miroy Requier & Co', with floral and bird painted decoration to the centre, the ormolu case having applied mounts with lion's head handles to the sides, a blue painted plaque to the front depicting a gentleman and lady on a bridge and surmounted by a painted gilt and blue porcelain urn, height 35cm. * Japy Freres were the most productive of the French movement makers, the business having been started by Frederic Japy in Beaucourt in the late 18th century. * Miroy, Requier & Co were retailers recorded as being in London circa 1875.
A French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell and stamped to the back with the retailer's name 'Wassell, 43 Fenchurch Street, London', the painted porcelain dial having black Roman numerals, spade hands and floral painted decoration to the centre, the ormolu case having half round sides inset with curved pink porcelain panels decorated with musical representations, a further plaque to the front depicting two cherubs at rest, surmounted by a porcelain urn, height 35cm. * Wassell & Halford are recorded in London circa 1875.
