This will require attention. Each lamp bears one or two shallow surface indentations to the marble, and one narrow line appears to have been filled. This lamp also has a narrow crack to one of the gilt mounts, probably from casting and overall stable. The other has a similar fissure to the band of guilloches encircling the top. The present mounts supporting the electrical fitments may be associated. A brass fire fender in Louis XVI style, each end cast with a festooned urn, flanking the adjustable pierced centre, approximately 180cm wide, 52cm high, 44cm deepCondition Report: The fender is in three parts, with the central frieze having been separated. This may be due to an adjustable design, though the interior of the fender lacks any supporting framework for this and the edges where the central frieze has been removed are re-gilt and a little irregular. J E DEAN FOR MINTON; a hand painted twin handled pedestal urn decorated with sailing vessels in quiet seas, signed to the rim and factory marks 1026 to base, height 13.5cm.Additional InformationGeneral wear to the gilding, light crazing to the glaze but in good condition. 

DERBY; a small group comprising pair of floral painted cabinet plates with gilt highlights on dark blue ground, diameter 22cm, pair of shaped Imari palette decorated and gilt heightened bowls, 19.5 x 25cm, two further floral decorated bowls (af) and an urn vase (af), these with painted marks to bases, further similar floral decorated ceramics, two Royal Crown Derby Imari decorated plates, smaller dish and teacup, all pattern no.1128 and three pot lids (badly af).Additional InformationBoth early Derby plates with no visible hairline cracks, but hollow rings. Both shaped bowls with better rings, but both of these heavily scratched to surface and underside, with extensive firing imperfections and kiln dirt and pitting. Both of the floral decorated shaped bowls mentioned after the Imari bowls have hairline cracks. All of the other 18th and 19th century ceramics in this lot badly af, numerous cracks and serious damage and losses throughout. Two of the pot lids completely cracked all the way through, one with chip to underside. The Royal Crown Derby items all ring true with no visible hairline cracks and some light surface wear.

A D MOUGIN; a late 19th century French ormolu eight day gong strike mantel clock and garniture, the clock with urn finial above circular dial set with Roman numerals flanked by turned columns, the movement backplate with stamped manufacturer's mark and numbered 56917, with harbour scene in relief to lower section, probably Istanbul, the twin handled urns with cherubic masks to both sides and martial scenes in relief to front depicting a battle between the Ottoman Empire and Christian forces, all on foliate detailed bases to cast satyr mask front feet, the clock 42 x 23 x 15cm.Additional InformationNo key or pendulum included, therefore not tested, no guarantee of working order. Rubbing to the ormolu finish throughout, light general wear including some pitting, scratches, scuffs and marks. Further tarnish to metalware, dirt and dust, some imperfections in the casting.
