A George III oak cased long case automaton clock, circa 1780, 11 inch brass arched dial with black Roman numerals, half hour markers, minute track and five minute numerals, matte centre with date aperture, subsidiary seconds and signed name plaque engraved 'Willm Sayer Devizes', applied spandrels, the arch with painted roundel of a bearded 'Old Man Time' whose eyes move back and forth with the beat of the clock, twin train four pillar 8 day movement chiming on a bell, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and cast brass roundels with urn surmount, reed columns flanking the glazed hood door, the case later profusely carved with floral friezes, borders and decorative roundels, arched full length trunk door, raised on shaped bracket feet, with two weights, pendulum and winder, 45 by 21 by 214cm high.
A Pair of German Silver Urn Shaped Vases, Neresheimer, Hanau, and with English import marks for Berthold Muller, London 1904, of openwork campana form with anthemion decoration, twin lion mask drop ring handles and on square pierced pedestal foot, ruby glass liners, 20.5cm high, 34oz 12dwt Clear marks to rim of both examples. One anthemion support detached at lower junction and in need of re-soldering. Some minor knocks to feet. One example leaning slightly. A large flat chip to the rim of one liner.

Amended description - An early 20th Century satinwood tea caddy of oval form in the Georgian style, inlaid with a bird amongst foliage and with a shell paterae to the lid, later velvet lined, height 11.5cm and width 20.5cm, together with a smaller tea caddy of rectangular form, inlaid with a twin handled urn and with lily of the valley detail to the sides, lacks interior fittings, height 11.5cm and width 13cm. A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY BOHEMIAN CRANBERRY GLASS VASES with lozenge shaped enamelled panels of flowers and crosshatched decoration on a gilded foliate ground, 27.5cm high, together with three vases each painted with a portrait, a white overlaid goblet and vase and two other pieces (9) Gilbert Telfer Collection, Edinburgh Condition Report:The pair of vases have both been off just above the knop and restored. One with a bolt and nut. White overlaid vase has a clean break above the knop and has a chip to the glass. White overlaid goblet broken badly at knop and restuck. Has bruise to the foot rim. Tall slim vase with portrait has been broken above and below knop and has been broken badly at top of vase and restuck . Vase with portrait on brass two handle urn base - provably didn't start out like this as glass looks uneven where stuck to brass base. Other vase on brass base maybe a marriage, gilt rubbed very badly. Two other small pieces in ok condition. Gilt is rubbed in places on all pieces. . A MEISSEN DOUBLE BASKET CENTREPIECE together with a French Veuve Perrin tureen and cover painted with a harbour scene, floral sprays, a Chelsea style dish painted with birds, a small urn painted with hunting scenes and a chocolate cup and saucer (5) Gilbert Telfer Collection, Edinburgh Condition Report: Meissen basket - Badly damaged and restored, 27cm at longest. tureen and cover - both pieces fully restored, 34cm long. bird dish - handles broken and restored, pieces of flowers missing, firing cracks, 26cm long. urn - nice condition but gilt is rubbed, 16cm high. cup and saucer - cup has been restored, saucer is cracked and has losses to the flowers, 9cm high.
A PAIR OF COLPORT PORCELAIN EWARS the cobalt blue and gilt ground with painted oval landscape panels together with a smaller ewer, a three handled goblet, a cream ground urn painted with a castle and an Aynsley moustache cup and saucer (6) Gilbert Telfer Collection, Edinburgh Condition Report: Both jugs have been broken above the knop and badly restored. One jug has a break to the spout which has been stuck back on. Gilt possibly repainted but rubbed on handles. Smaller jug broken under knop and to the handle. The gilt has been repainted but is flaking. Goblet is cracked and one of the handles is missing a knop at the top. Chipped to the reverse of the crack. Cream vase broken above the knop and restored badly. Cup is broken and restuck, gilt rubbed. Saucer ok.
