An early 18th Century walnut bureau bookcase, the urn topped shaped cornice with sunburst panel below above two arched mirror panelled doors, the fall enclosing a step and well interior with central cupboard, above two short and two long drawers on bun feet, 242cm x 105cm/see illustration Condition Report: Slight splitting of veneer to central sunburst and mirror surrounds and moulding to mirror surround loose on right hand door, interior of bookcase and bureau in good condition. Drawer handles replaced. Photograph colour is very yellow and in true life it is a far better colour.

The oil with the trees to the right: under UV there are signs of touching up to a small area above the urn and to the upper left in the sky is a larger area approx 4 x 2 ins The oil with the trees to the left: signs of overpainting to the centre of the picture in the lower tree approx 4 x 2 ins and small areas in the sky above the trees The general appearance of these pictures and their frames is very good, ready to hang.
