A nineteenth Century Meissen urn and cover adorned with moulded vinework and raised on a naturalistic base surmounted by two young boys and a hound. Underglazed crossed swords. 10". Condition Report : Substantial damage. Branch handle with bird broken free from cover mostly retained, chip to the rim of the cover. Urn section broken above the socle area and repaired. Left cherub and hound fully intact. Right cherub with right arm and head re glued his left hand detached and mostly retained. Branch from rear of the composition detached but complete. Loss throughout to the applied leaves and flowers.

A collection of ten various silver top and other cut glass jars, salts, etc. CONDITION REPORTS All quite dirty with some general wear and rubbing, and some light scratching. Circular silver topped jar : lid is very dented all the way around the outer edge, some staining to glass from general wear. Tall circular silver topped jar : is slightly squished down on one side with a pinhead size dent to centre of lid. Urn shaped lidded jar has an extremely large chip to the rim approx. 2 cm x 2 cm.
An 18th century oak and elm cased long case clock, the hood with moulded cornice, glazed door flanked by turned pilasters over an arched trunk door to a flat fronted base on bracket feet, the square brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals within applied C scroll and urn spandrels to a matted centre and thirty hour four pillar movement CONDITION REPORTS Hood, trunk and base have evidence of wormholes (but no evidence of activity, as recently treated by furniture restorer), swept moulding to the base of the trunk to the plinth base has some aged knocks with blackened stainings and gouge marks, this also extends down to the left-hand edge of the front panel adjacent to the side panel, there is evidence of a later bracket foot base, movement has a replacement back board.
An early 19th Century silver and tortoiseshell oval snuff box, the hinge lid inset with a tortoiseshell panel piqué inlaid with a mother-of-pearl flower charged urn, flanked by two birds within a surround of piqué inlaid silver foliate scrolls, the plain sides with reeded borders and plain tortoiseshell base, length approx 7.6cm.

Re-gilt. Chips to dial. A restoration to socle of urn. Chips along bottom edge of neck of urn. Chips to corners and along edges of marble base. Both cherubs with damages that have been gilded over: one cherub missing part of his drapery on right side of body, the other with a shallow abrasion to back. No key. Movement appears complete.
