A fine pair of George III Sheraton period mahogany cutlery urn and covers, with fitted galleries to the interior with satinwood cross banding and strung decoration, on square sub-bases on small turned feet. 32 cm diameter x 70 cm high. A private estateThe covers have internal shrinkage cracks, this only transmits through the veneer in one cover see the image.The urns and covers have been restored but not recently, they are in good structural order but the surface is bare of patina and some small clumsy patches are evident, I can't see any woodworm infestation.some areas are obvious cosmetic repairs, I will try to reflect them in the supporting imagesi can't see any structural additions or omissions but as stated some restoration has taken place.Please see the supplied images.

A vintage pictorial silk rug, the central panel set with landscape with birds and animals within a scrolling foliate bird and animal and urn set lilac ground and a scrolling purple, green and blue stepped border approx. 203 cm x 129 cm, bears signature in one border CONDITION REPORTS There is a small hole to the lower half centre of the rug. Wear and loss to the pile, etc. throughout. The binding is coming away in various places. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further details.Feels a bit dry as if has been wet at some point. Not breaking but it is quite rigid.
Large Meissen porcelain 'Schneeballen' urn and cover of baluster form with branch handles, the domed lid with Parrot finial overall decorated with flowerheads and song birds. 82cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Image of mark added. Inexplicably poor condition. Many losses and breaks to birds wings, flowers, branches etc. Parrot on cover has been repaired wing and loss to wing tip. Both birds on base have missing wings, evidence of some old repairs. Main body has haircrack and firing cracks,cover has firing cracks, chips and frits to flower heads overall losses to branches that may have supported a bird.
