A collection of Locke & Co. Worcester blush ivory and white crested ware miniatures including a Welsh hat, a thimble, a twin handled lidded urn, jugs, vases, etc, the blush ivory items with green "Worcester" stamp to base, the white items with green "Shrubhill Works" stamp (15). CONDITION REPORT: A little rubbing to gilt rims commensurate with age otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A Coalport limited edition Constable bi-centenary eagle vase, no. 24/100, and two Coalport limited edition urns and covers; St. Paul's, 239/250, and Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee 1977, no.108/200 (af) (3). CONDITION REPORT: The large urn has had the wing broken off the finial, crudely glued, with some minor sections still missing. Minor rubbing to the gilding and some minor surface scratches. The Queen Elizabeth II urn has been broken through the base section and crudely glued, also has a large chip to the foot rim. Minor rubbing to the gilding. The St Paul's jar has minor rubbing to the gilding, otherwise OK.

A late 19th century Italian needlework picture, depicting an urn of vine leaves and grapes with a pair of peacocks flanking the Christian symbol Chi-Rho, 48.5 x 67.5, in a glazed Florentine carved giltwood frame. Provenance: Sir Russell Hornby of Barraclough, Clitheroe, Lancashire who inherited it from his maternal uncle, 'Count' Redmond Toler Clayton-Browne Clayton of the Villa La Punta, Cervara, Santa Margherita, Ligure, Italy.
A Regency mahogany bowfront sideboard, with a brass rail with urn finials, the base inlaid with boxwood and ebonised stringing and fitted with a central drawer flanked by two deep drawers, one with divisions for bottles, the other with divisions, with a further drawer and cupboard, 141.6cm high, 184cm wide, 84.4cm deep. A George III mahogany single four poster bed attributed to Gillows of Lancaster, with reeded and turned front posts with brass bands and turned urn finials, with blue painted top rails and with satinwood bands and marquetry inlaid covers, on iron and wood castors, 245cm high, 107cm wide, 212cm long. Provenance: Sir Henry Russell Hornby, Bt, (1888-1971), 2nd Baronet of Brookhouse, of Barraclough, Clitheroe, Lancashire and thence by descent.
A pair of 19th century kingwood and marquetry side cabinets, each with a red and green griotte breakfront marble top, above a carved giltwood frieze and a panelled door with ebonized mouldings and 17th century Dutch marquetry, of an urn of flowers inlaid with various fruitwoods, surrounded by further floral panels, enclosing two shelves, 107.3cm high, 92.4cm wide, 43.9cm deep. An Edwardian painted and giltwood breakfront wardrobe in Louis XVI style, the central arched cornice flanked by flaming urn finials with a central arched mirror door enclosing mahogany slides and two short and two long drawers, with sunken brass handles, flanked by a pair of doors enclosing brass rails for hanging, the base with a Greek key moulding, 253cm high, 248cm wide, 66cm deep. Provenance: Normanby Park, Lincolnshire. Rookley Manor, Hampshire.
A Roman marble cinerary urn with lid 1st-2nd century AD; 48 cm (18,89 in) high; Square in form, finely sculpted lid with eagles holding wreaths acroteria, a tripod with lion’s paws-shaped foot between two seated and confronting griffins in the pediment, the front carved in high relief, centered by a panel engraved with a eight-line dedicatory Latin inscription: “Diis / Manibus / M(arci) Antoni / Gemelli / M(arcus) Antonius / Proculus filius / patri bene / merenti” The inscription panel is flanked by sphinxes and eagles, a shell between dolphins and burning candlesticks beneath. PROVENANCE: From an European private collection.
