Urn shaped brass pommel with 2nd pattern type ‘hatched’ grip showing service use and some blackened finish with what looks like period slight bending back to guards, which has slightly loosened grip fit. Good used 16.9cm long plated double edge blade with early Wilkinson Sword & The FS Fighting Knife Trade Marks to ricasso. Blade shows service use & wear, with field sharpened edges and used spear point. Chocolate brown leather frog with removed leg ties, with blackened brass end cap & belt loop section with replaced leather rope ties for grip fastening. A good old timer from the early 2nd pattern manufacturing days.

Urn shaped pommel with 2nd pattern type ‘hatched’ grip showing service use and blackened finish. ‘B2’ (Wilkinson Sword) with Dept. Defence arrow stamped to top side of guard. 17.2 cm long plated double edge blade, with sharpened edges and use to spear point, with light wear, generally very good. ‘2’ stamped chocolate brown leather frog with leg ties & blackened brass end cap, having had the elastic strap section removed.
Brass urn lid pommel, with stag horn grip, with 2 fixed brass acorns (one missing), with gilt washed brass ‘hoof’ guard & half clamshell. 35cm long, double etched blade, maker marked for W.K.C. with knight’s head trademark. Etchings are the classic military style, with trophies of arms & floral patterns. Brass and leather scabbard fits majority of blade, with 7mm gap. Generally very good overall.
Urn shaped aluminium pommel, with dark blue metal grip. Aluminium winged guard with rotating symbol. 17.5cm long F A Helbig stamped worn & partially pitted blade, retaining leather washer. Blade fits well into the metal & aluminium scabbard, showing light wear overall, one patched repair & missing suspension ring & hanger.
C.1850’s British Army 1822 pattern Infantry Officer’s sword & scabbard by W. Buckmaster & Co.Steel 3 branched guard, with plain quillon, bevelled urn pommel & half chequered backstrap. 80cm long, slightly curved steel blade shows etchings to both sides, with Scottish thistles, strung bugle, V.R. royal cypher & trophies of arms etc, with polished maker mark for W.Buckmaster & Co. London. Sharpened & lightly nicked edge to lower spear point, usual with field use. Leather service scabbard retains the toned metal drag, again usual with these campaign swords. Overall length: 102cm.
A three piece silver tea service, by William Mammatt & Son, Sheffield 1905, comprising tea pot, sugar and milk jug, of ovoid form, having part fluted decoration and angular handles, the tea pot with hinged lid with urn form ebony finial and angular ebony handle with carved thumb grip, (gross weight 1005.8g). **RETURN TO LONDON 7/11/18** A continental silver and tortoiseshell compact, of circular form, the hinged lid having raised centre with hand painted scene of a courting couple within a rural landscape, under glass, the surround of finely pierced and engraved silver fashioned as flowers and scrolling leaves above a tortoiseshell backing, the silver base engraved with urn, flowers and scrolling leaf design, interior fitted mirror and powder holder, impressed "800", diameter 9.2cm.
A profusely carved Oak Longcase Clock decorated with stylised foliage, the door with a depiction of an urn containing a stylised plant and flanked by reeded quarter-round pillars, the swan-neck pediment hood accommodating a two-train 8 day movement, the painted face depicting a bonneted lady in a landscape to the arch and having Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals and marked "Pattison, Halifax." The movement has been running, although the chiming mechanism gut requires replacement. The clock would benefit from restoration and cleaning but has considerable presence being some 92" high and 22" wide.
