Circle of Andrea Scacciata the Elder (1642-1710), Carnations, narcissi, tulips, roses and poppies in a heavily decorated gilt urn, oil on canvas, 65.5 x 49.5cm. Scacciata was born at Florence and died in the same city on 6th June circa 1704-1710. He was a pupil of Mario Balassi Dandini and latterly, in his schooling years, Lorenzo Lippi. He largely painted still lifes of fruits and flowers.
An antique carved oak overmantel, with a gouged and dentil cornice, the centre panel inset with a 19th Century oil on canvas `Still life of flowers and foliage in an urn`, flanked by an arcaded panel to either side with guilloche, roundel and foliate ornament, between fluted stiles, having a lunette foliate base, 205cm (6ft 8 3/4in) long, 74cm (2ft 5in) high.
An 18th Century Dutch walnut and floral marquetry bombe bureau, bordered with boxwood and sycamore lines, the top with trailing floral sprays, within oval lines, the sloping hinged fall decorated with birds amidst flowering foliate stems radiating from a central urn supported by two stylised cherubs and enclosing a graduated fitted interior with small drawers and pigeon holes about a central enclosed cupboard, having a well with sliding cover, containing two small and three long drawers below with scrolling acanthus and trailing floral stems, between shaped and canted angles, the sides decorated with urns of flowers and foliage within oval lines, on splayed front feet, 119cm (3ft 10 3/4in) wide.
A 19th Century Dutch mahogany and floral marquetry swing frame platform toilet mirror, bordered with boxwood lines, the rectangular bevelled plate within chequer decorated surround, the platform base decorated with flowers and foliage, radiating from an urn and with flowering stems, fitted with a single drawer on brass ball-shaped feet, 37.5cm (14 3/4in) wide.

A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK with a 4½" dial, Roman numerals and chiselled decorated centre, the two train bell striking movement with silk suspension, the case with an urn finial, flanked by a classical maiden and a winged cherub holding a wine cup standing on a circular plinth opposed by an upright plinth supporting an urn and septre below the dial applied with winged lions and a classical urn raised upon a stepped plinth, centred with a roundel, stylised Grecian ornament raised upon a plinth and square feet each decorated with a winged figure, raised upon an ebonised plinth under a glazed dome, 26" high, overall 29"x26" see illustration. A Victorian gilt brass clock garniture, the clock with architectural stepped pediment, with centre finial with further finial to each corner above the circular dial with Arabic numerals within a gilt framework and two-train movement, flanked by Corinthian columns and with swag beneath and raised on a rectangular base and with conforming urn and stand pedestals. Height of clock 20 ins, width 11 ins (see illustration).
RUPPERSBOURG, STRASBOURG. A FRENCH 20-BORE DOUBLE-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN, early 19th century, with 85cm. blued barrels inlaid with two gold lines at each muzzle, a gilt sunburst surrounding the silver fore-sight, gilt foliage and lightning bursts at the breech, and signed 'RUPPERSBOURG A STRASBOURG EN CORDU' in gold on the rib, gold-lined touch-holes, border engraved grooved tang, rounded locks signed respectively 'RUPPERSBOURG' and 'A STRASBOURG' and each with gold-lined pan with drain (one top-jaw and screw replaced), figured walnut half-stock carved in relief with foliage behind the barrel-tang, raised cheek-piece, chequered grip, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with urn finial, iron sling mounts, and later horn-tipped ramrod.
A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL 25-BORE FLINTLOCK PISTOLS, PROBABLY FRENCH, late 18th / early 19th century, each with 6 1/2in. two-stage barrel with turned muzzle and punched and engraved decoration, iron tang, rounded lock (comb of one cock repaired), walnut full stock (one chipped in front of lock and cracked around side-nail) with bird's head pommel and inlaid with silver wire scrollwork around the barrel-tang, iron mounts including trigger-guard with urn finial, iron-capped ramrod (iron parts with some discolouration).
