Circle of Andrea Scacciata the Elder (1642-1710), Carnations, narcissi, tulips, roses and poppies in a heavily decorated gilt urn, oil on canvas, 65.5 x 49.5cm. Scacciata was born at Florence and died in the same city on 6th June circa 1704-1710. He was a pupil of Mario Balassi Dandini and latterly, in his schooling years, Lorenzo Lippi. He largely painted still lifes of fruits and flowers.
