Lot 47 in the Derby Sale Catalogue of 10 February 1773 was "a pastoral group finely modelled with an antique vase, enanel`d and elegantly finish`d£3.2.6d". A similar example is illustrated Bradshaw (Peter), Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848, 1990, fig 136. An attractive example of this scarce Derby model in unusually good condition with small restoration to the flute and part of the female figure`s left foot

A REGENCY NEO CLASSICAL JAPANNED MANTEL TIMEPIECE BY THOMAS WEEKS the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, giltmetal hands and later movement in gilt brass case with urn finial, the pedestal base of moulded concave form decorated in black and fawn and painted en grisaille with an oval cameo medallion and palmette border, on ogee feet, 25cm h Thomas Weeks was renowned for the mechanical curiosities exhibited at the eponymous Museum and adjoining shop he established in about 1897 at 3 & 4 Titchbourne Street, London. His collection was sold at auction after his death in 1834. The movement an inappropriate 20th c replacement, back edge of case slightly dented, decoration discoloured with age and flaking, one front corner of the base broken off and neatly restuck long ago. The enamel dial undamaged, the metal case retaining practically all of the original gilding. The decoration entirely unrestored
A 19th century French clock garniture, with painted classical landscape scenes and ormolu mounts, the striking movement stamped Japy Frères and numbered 2835, retailed by R&C of Paris and London, clock 39cm high, urns 28cm high (3) CONDITION REPORT: Clock: minor chip to enamel dial, light wear to numerals, back cover missing, gap at base of clock where it joins the ormolu stand. Urns: gilding rubbed in places, three handles loose, one white enamel 'dot' missing off each urn.

A Victorian ebonised pier cabinet, with ornate gilt bronze mounts and a single door inset with hardstones with an urn of fruiting foliage, on a black marble ground, 96cm wide 44cm deep 119cm high CONDITION REPORT: Top scratched, marked and cracked. Door ebonising is discoloured. Some Hardstone inlay detached but present. Hardstone flowers have missing leaves, stalks and flowerheads. Several stalks and fruit detached. Much flat brass stringing to one side of the door sprung and some missing. Stringing missing to the base and sides. Discolouration to gilded finish. Chips to ebonising. We suggest a thorough close inspection.
A George III silver snuffer stand of boat form with beaded edge and pierced urn medallion decorated ends (by Robert Hennell, London 1783), 22 cm x 9 cm, 3.16 oz CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs, some rubbing to the etched decoration to centre, a few small knocks and dents, the words "George III 1783" have been scratched into the base, hallmarks generally fairly crisp, although there is some slight rubbing to the makers mark.

Some undulations to paper. Some slight yellowing. Small nick/tear near top edge of picture (located about 4cm in from the left and 1cm down) The print is sealed within the frame, and has not been removed for inspection. It is not known which edition this print is from. Bears various printed and typed labels verso (please see photos)
