A Worcester twin handled oval pierced basket circa 1770. atelier Decorated in the atelier of Giles James, the twist handles with spiral gilt highlights and applied leaf and flower terminals, the exterior with blue flower heads at the intersections beneath a gilt line rim, the interior painted with a bearded face mask urn and flowers, blue border with grape and vine gilt decoration, length 23cm.There are two cracks on the main body and further cracks around the pierced border, please see the additional images.
A George III mahogany and inlaid linen press. With a fluted cornice above a pair of urn inlaid doors enclosing sliding shelves, the lower part fitted two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, height 202cm, width 125cm, depth 61cm.There are general knocks and wear, there are two long scratches on the right side.Some moulding is loose, and one section is a replacement.The handles are replacements and one foot is replaced, there is no evidence of woodworm. George III steel pincushion clamp in original box, late 18th century, steel clamp with gilt metal highlights, with bead and leaf decorated circular frame, and drawer handle screw terminal, supporting a flower-form finial containing a crimson velvet domed pincushion, 21 cm (8.25 ins), contained in original pink velvet-lined hinged shaped box, with additional compartment for a sewing stiletto (not present), exterior covered with textured green paper, slightly rubbed, red paper and gilt beaded edging missing in places, 21.5 x 9 cm (8.5 x 3.5 ins), together with a Victorian ivory satin pincushion, with pinwork flower urn and lettering 'Welcome To The Little Stranger', fringed edging, 15 x 17 cm (6 x 6.75 ins)QTY: (2)NOTE:An attractive sewing clamp found, most unusually, in its original box.

A long length of 18th century red silk damask, with large pattern of stylised flowers and leaves, incorporating a flaming heart pierced by an arrow, atop a large book with clasps, flanked by a pair of putti holding a coronet, a loom width, with green-striped selvedges, worn, with some holes, darns, and narrow patches to edges, 6 m x 84 cm (236 x 33 ins), together with a pair of loom-width lengths of 19th century red silk damask, with large urn and flower pattern, top and bottom edges raw, one piece with a few spots of discolouration and a short closed tear (2.5 cm), the other with some staining at ends, each 320 x 66.5 cm (126 x 26.25 ins), another loom-width long length similar, some scattered very small holes, a few marks to left-hand edge, 363 x 66 cm (144 x 26 ins), and a small loom-width piece of 19th century red silk damask depicting large poppy seed heads and flowers, 98.5 x 52 cm (38.75 x 20.5 ins) QTY: (5)NOTE:Provenance: Collection of Peta Smyth

A George V silver coffee pot by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1921, of hexagonal tapered form with urn finial and pedestal foot, the handle with ivory spacers, 27 cm high, overall weight 867g, together with a three-piece silver decagon tea service by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1930, comprising teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl, the teapot with ebonised handle and finial, 26 cm long, overall weight including the handle and finial 784g QTY: (4)NOTE:Ivory Act registration reference: BLPRABZK.

Kees, hand-painted double-sided bone fan, the recto bearing a pastoral scene of youthful figures in 18th century dress, a young boy and girl on the left dancing, and another couple seated on the right beneath a tree, a church spire seen against a sunset sky on the left, and the sweeping stone steps of a garden on the right, the vignette flanked by a flower urn on the left and a quiver of arrows in the right, and surrounded by rose garlands, verso with crossed beacons in the centre flanked by rose garlands and surrounded by butterflies, upper guardstick signed in brown ink on verso 'E. A Swiss gold enamel and pearl snuff box, Geneva, circa 1800, possibly by Jean-Joseph Isaac Bellamy, of circular form, the cover, sides and base with translucent royal blue enamel applied with gold, scrolls and arabesques, heightened with red and green details, and white enamel stringing, the cover centred with an oval enamel panel painted to depict young couple, framed by a split pearl border, the base depicting an urn with birds, within outer chased and enamelled borders, numbered inside lid ‘136001’, maker’s marks indistinct, diameter 5.9cm. £3000-£4,000 --- Condition Report Small area of enamel loss to the edge of the central panel of the lid, slight surface wear visible to the base panel, some slight white enamel losses and tiny grazes to the blue enamel. Gross weight 78.6gm.
