Napoleonic War Period 1796 Infantry Pattern Officer Blue and Gilt Sword. A good example with a 82 cm blade with 1/2 length blue and gilt (60% present) etched decoration of a crowned GR cypher, Royal Coat of Arms and flora. The hilt of the regulation pattern with single bar guard terminating with a bud finial and retaining folding guard. A silvered grip is surmounted by an urn pommel. A large Vienna porcelain urn, circa 1900, the ovoid body hand painted with the "Three Fates" after Friedrich Paul Thumann (1834-1908), twin handles with eagle head terminals, red and gilt lid and similar square section foot, height 45.5cm. Condition - lid with numerous damage/repair, vase with one handle broken/repaired, chip to base, otherwise appears ok.
