A FRENCH 19th CENTURY GILT METAL MOUNTED ALABASTER FRENCH CLOCK GARNITURE, S. MARTI ET CIE, the case with ribbon tied torch trophy surmount, further decorated with floral swags, and leaf scroll frieze, raised on leaf cast feet, the white enamel dial painted with floral garlands and with Arabic numerals, the eight day movement striking on a bell and signed S. Marti et Cie, with key and pendulum, the pair of five light candelabra issuing acanthus leaf scroll arms on urn cast standards, above trophies en suite with the clock. Height of clock 39cm
A large Victorian gilt brass mounted oak quarter chiming bracket clock the substantial four pillar triple chain fusee movement repeating and chiming a choice of two tunes on eight bells, striking on a single coil, the arched gilt brass dial with matted centre, applied silvered 7in. Roman chapter ring with Arabic five minutes to outer track, subsidiary silvered Chime/Silent and Chime on 8 bells/Westminster selection dials, gilt metal shell, cherub mask and foliate spandrels, the case painted to simulate lacewood, the caddy top with brass pineapple urn and flame urn finials and floral swag mount, the canted body with gilt brass caryatids and shell spandrels above the arched bevelled glass door, decorative pierced grilles to sides, on a cavetto moulded plinth with gilt brass mounts with foliate paw feet, 28½in. (72.5cm.) high.
A 19th century Hookah pipe the brass ovoid form reservoir cast within tripod base with stylised lion perched upon the tubular pipe insert, hardwood stem with centralised knop between upper and lower disc turning, on which is seated a bronze urn form deposit, the detachable bamboo pipe is decorated with finely etched animals, Piscean subjects, figure heads and elaborate scroll work, 15½in. (39.5cm.) high. See Illustration.
A Victorian mahogany tea table of rounded rectangular form, the hinged fold over top above a moulded edge frieze, on a tapering octagonal support on an upturned urn style plinth, set on a flat quadripartite base terminating in carved scroll feet with brass castors, 856cm wide by 42cm deep by 76cm high (folded dimensions).

**AN ENGLISH SMALL-SWORD WITH BURNISHED STEEL HILT, RETAILED BY D. DRURY SWORD CUTLER TO HIS MAJESTY with polished slender tapering blade of hollow-triangular section, steel hilt set with numerous faceted studs in imitation of brilliants (small losses, the hilt now dismantled), comprising oval dish-guard set with a flower-shaped pattern, forward-canted flattened circular quillon, a pair of very slender arms, knuckle-guard, urn-shaped pommel and faceted grip, in its steel-mounted leather scabbard (cracked), with signed locket, and complete with an early chain for suspension 80.2 cm; 30 5/8 in blade Literature: D. D. Hartzler 2000, fig. 104; inv. no. JKL 169 Dru Drury II was a leading goldsmith, knife-handle maker, cutler, inventor and noted entomologist. For an account of this remarkable maker and his sons of the same name see Southwick 2001, pp. 93-6.
A pair of French ormolu three branch four light candelabra, late 18th/early 19th century, modelled with a masked urn, the lid inverting to reveal a sconce, raised on a fluted column supported on a stepped circular base, emitting three branches of foliate form bound by foliate swags, drilled for electricity, 38cm. high (2) Provenance: The Church of the Annunciation, Marble Arch, London Note: A similar pair of candelabra were offered in sale by Sotheby's as lot 266 on the 27th November 1987. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition with some wear to the gilding.

Crack to base. Glaze fault to body. One chip to rim and fritting of the glaze to rim.
