A late Georgian silver tea urn of ovoid form with a dome lift off cover and side carrying handles with pouring spout having turn on/turn off handle, supported on four reeded legs with paw feet on a quatrefoil base this on ball feet - no burner, makers mark for Peter Ann & William Bateman, London 1800, 124oz t, 46cm h.
An English Edwardian miniature longcase clock in high quality mahogany case with swan neck pediments to the hood and central urn finial. There is an area of carved decoration above the arched dial and freestanding fluted columns flank the 19cm brass arched dial which has Turks head spandrels and a strike/silent dial in the arch. The long trunk door has a wavy top and is flanked by fluted quarter columns. The base has canted corners and an applied front panel with indented corners and has bracket feet. The substantial weight driven movement has anchor escapement and is rack striking on a gong and the weights are brass bound. The clock stands 155cm tall.
