A German Mantel Clock, of architectural form, the eight day movement by Junghans, striking on a gong and chiming on rods, the gilt metal dial with silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals. The walnut case with urn surmount and finials, mounted with ribbon and floral swags, caryatids flanking the dial, raised on claw feet. Measures 52 cm high, 36 cm wide and 21 cm deep.
LATE VICTORIAN BLACK SLATE ARCHITECTURAL TWO TRAIN MANTEL CLOCK having black Roman chapter ring around exposed dead beat escapement, the case with gilt metal mask and gadroon mounts, brass drum movement striking on gong, together with a pair of very similar black slate, metal mounted, yellow metal urn shaped supporters with Sphinx handles. 19TH CENTURY ORMOLU AND MARBLE CLOCK GARNITURE, the clock in the form of a portico, surmounted by a baluster urn, enamelled Arabic face, on four Corinthian columns with a serpentine base, all with ormolu mounts and finials, on ormolu feet, together with a similar pair of marble, ormolu mounted supporters in the form of two handled urns decorated with floral swags on stepped bases with ormolu feet. French brass drum movement striking on one bell with ormolu sunburst pediment. The clock 51cm high approx., the supporters, 28cm high approx. (3)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition, no obviously apparent significant damage or losses, includes a modern key.
