Napoleonic War Period 1796 Infantry Pattern Sword The 32 inch straight spearpoint blade retains traces of blue & gilt decoration (10%). The engraved decoration includes a Crowned GR cypher, Royal Coat of Arms etc. The fire gilt hilt of regulation pattern, with single bar guard and fixed shell guard. The grip retains silver wire binding, which is surmounted by an urn pommel. Complete with original black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. Please note chape absent. GC.
