A RUSSIAN SMALL-SWORD, CIRCA 1790, PROBABLY TULA, with slender hollow-triangular blade etched with scrollwork at the forte, steel hilt set with numerous faceted studs and inlaid with twisted silver wire, comprising oval shell-guard pierced with a central panel of expanded flowerheads separated by leaves, a pair of slender arms, short scrolling quillon, knuckle-guard interrupted by a pierced moulding, urn-shaped pommel, and swelling grip decorated with a spiralling pattern of fluting, inset with studs and twisted wire en suite with the hilt (minor losses), 87cm; 34 1/4in blade. The style of decoration with the use of studs and twisted silver wire on burnished steel is characteristic of Tula workmanship of this period. For further examples see Tula 1977, nos. 124 and 126.

A pair of small brass candle sticks circa 1800; the urn shaped candle cups with push up candle ejectors on flared square plinth bases 4½ ins (11.5 cms) in height.
Three 18th Century Blue & White Delft Plates: An 18th Century example painted with a bird perched on fence and cedar trees behind, framed by a trellis bordering band, 11¾ ins (30 cms) in diameter. A late 18th/early 19th Century example; the centre panel with an urn cascading fruit, flowers and a bird perched amongst the foliage, in a segmented border of stylised fruit trees, 13¼ ins (34 cms) in diameter. And a late 18th century example painted with rockwork issuing chinoiserie flowers and further sprays around the border, 13¾ ins (35 cms) in diameter.
Four Large Late 18th Century Blue & White Delft plates (A/F). One decorated with an urn of flowers and trellis rim band 13¾ins (35 cms) in diameter. One with a small central floral sprig surrounded by concentric bands of floral spays, 13½ ins (34.5 cms) in diameter. One with chinoiserie flowering plants emanating from scrolling rockwork, 13½ ins (34.5 cms) in diameter. And the last decorated with a stylised flower garden with trellis fence, 13¼ ins (34 cms) in diameter.
A 19th Century Ornamental Miniature Cast Iron Fire Place with brass fender. The sides decorated with oversized undulating stems of wild strawberries and surmounted by a crested pediment cast in the form of an urn cascading fruit & foliage. Approximately 9½ ins (24 cms) high, 10½ ins (27 cms) wide.
An 18th Century Longcase Clock, having an eight day movement striking a bell. The silvered chapter ring encircling a matted centre with a subsidiary seconds dial & calendar aperture, bordered by ornamental gilt brass spandrels. The case having a pagoda pediment hood surmounted by three urn finials above a glazed door flanked by columns. Measuring 83½ ins (212 cms) in height, 19½ ins (50 cms) in width, 10 ins (25 cms) in depth.
A Superb Pair of William & Mary Japanned and Parcel Gilt Caned Armchairs Circa 1690, finely carved and enriched with gilded chinoiserie decoration on a scarlet lacquered ground. The high caned stepped-dome top backs in moulded frames surmounted by pierced cresting rails; each carved with central urn cascading scrolls of flowers & foliage with scaly dolphins either side. The square stop-fluted uprights embellished with bands of flared, imbricated leaves. The moulded outswept arms having scroll knop terminals carved with dolphin heads and resting on flared square supports incorporating voluted scrolls and reeding reflected on the front legs, with a finely carved & pierced front connecting rail, turned H-form under-stretcher and Briganza feet. 54½ ins (139 cms) high, 27½ ins (70 cms) wide.
A FIVE GLASS MAHOGANY WHEEL BAROMETER, mid 19th century, with hydrometer and inset thermometer box, mirror with ebonised reeded surround, 8" silvered dial chased with a sunburst over spirit level, the case with stringing and scrolled pediment centred by a brass urn, rounded base, 38 1/2" high
