A Rare & Fine Pair of Late 18th Century Directoire Ormolu & Bronze Figural Candelabra Circa 1790. The three urn form candle cups enriched with fanned palms; two upon swept foliate branches issuing leafy fronds. The bronze winged goddesses cast with draped robes and standing upon marble pedestals with gilt lion headed winged monopod mounts. 22¾ ins (58 cms) in height, 12 ins (31 cms) in width, 4¾ ins (12 cms) in depth.
A Pair of Empire Gilt Bronze Candelabra. The six urn shaped candle cups raised on beast headed foliate scrolls and adjoining an ornamental central knop. A band of lion heads protrude above a triform base enhanced with winged angel headed scrolls and gilt face mask appliqués. 25 ins (63.5 cms) in height.
A Pair of Charles X Gilt Bronze Candelabra. The central candle cups with beaded rims surrounded by three further urn form candle cups raised on upswept foliate branches. The reeded tapering column having an acanthus collars above triform pedestals with scalloped sides and feet, on a plinth with curved sides and foliate beaded edge. 19 ins (48 cms) in height.
A Pair of Louis XIV Style Onyx Marble & Ormolu Garniture Urns. Each urn surmounted by a fruit finial above a band of scrolling acanthus with rams' heads either side festooned in garlands of flowers. The gilt palmate fringe meeting the scotia plinth base with a laurel wreath collar. 21 ins (53 cms) in height, 5½ ins x 5½ ins (14 cms x 14 cms).
