A mixed group of 20th Century Chinese and Japanese ceramics to include a ginger jar hand enamelled with a phoenix amongst trees and flowers having a geometric pattern rim, a Japanese urn vase with hand painted geisha girls, a white ground Japanese vase with painted scene and character marks to verso and a small cup contained within a wooden puzzle box. Tallest measures 18cm tall.
A mixed group of Masons Ironstone China ceramics dating from the 19th Century to include a large hand painted jug depicting an oriental garden scene having a dragon moulded handle, a pedestal blue and white urn decorated with birds and floral patterns, hand painted plates with one of shell form etc. Jug measures 22cm tall.
An Edwardian mahogany satinwood crossbanded boxwood and ebony strung bonheur de jour, inlaid with floral and classical urn marquetry, having a pierced brass gallery above a stationary compartment enclosed by a curved hinged cover and flanked on either side by two small drawers, inset rectangular top, three frieze drawers, on square tapered legs and castors, 106.5cm wide x 60cm deep x 95.5cm high.
A PAIR OF SEVRES PORCELAIN URN SHAPED LIDDED VASES on yellow ground with hand painted vignettes of figures and animals and landscape with relief moulded ram's head and figure mounts on circular pedestal bases. Blue painted and impressed marks to bases. (2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Minor wear to gilding in places. Visible sticker marks on both vases. Otherwise no obvious damage. 19cm high, 10cm width approx.
19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK, the scroll work case surmounted by figure of young girl leaning against urn with flower in her hand, the case with putti and foliate scroll mounts, enamel face with Roman numerals, two train French movement, strikes on one bell. 37cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: All appearing complete, although lacking pendulum. Face is discoloured, chipped and cracked in places. Very grubby overall.
Four items of brassware to include an antique Turkish Ballah Ibrik (coffee pot) of flask form, scroll handle terminating in dog mask, profusely decorated with raised panels of flora and ribbons, straight tapered spout on four stub feet, an antique small mortar and pestle, a small tea urn and a brass paraffin lamp (4).
A fine Royal Crown Derby twin handled pedestal urn and cover by Desire Leroy. With raised gilding on gros bleu and green grounds, with a turquoise and gilt cartouche painted with a bouquet of flowers and with a gilt spray to the reverse. Signed, printed red mark, date code for 1898-99, 18.75cm. Finial re glued only. No other damage and free from repair.
