London 1883, makers mark LD, in the neo-classical style, the top formed with two putti with book and folder, the back with two urn shaped candle holders, the front with two lidded inkwells, set on four acanthus cast feet, with traces of original gilding throughout, approx weight 110oz 11in (28cm) wide, 10.5in (26.5cm) high.
