18th/19th C CHINESE IMPERIAL WHITE JADE PENDANT Fully relief carved antique Chinese Imperial white jade pendant depicting flying birds with urn and lotus blossoms. Has 14k yellow gold mount and bail. Qing dynasty. Measures 2 1/8" height x 2 5/8" width (5.4cm x 6.6cm). Total weight of 23 grams.
A glass painting of birds and flowers in an urn. Painted frame. Family tradition suggests that this was either a student piece by Dora Carrington or the work of one of her close friends. The vendors grandmother Barbara Hiles worked with Virginia and Leonard Wolf and was at the Slade with Carrington she was later the mistress of Clive Bell and nursed him in his last years. The vendor spent many holidays with her grandmother at Charleston. Sold with a copy of a photograph of the previous owner Barbara Hiles and a copy of a drawing by Carrington but signed by Duncan Grant

A 19th Century Grainger Worcester porcelain urn painted with a river scene with bridge and buildings, with boats and figures in the foreground, inscribed to base, together with a 19th century porcelain flower encrusted vase CONDITION REPORTS Both with quite extensive damage and losses, and old rrepairs, re-modelling and extensive over-painting. The repairs and over-painting appear to be quite old and have discoloured and are flaking.
A pair of Flight Barr & Barr twin handled urn shaped vases, 19th century, of classical urn form, the flared top of raised leaf pattern, with scroll shaped handles and raised on socle and plinth bases, overall decorated with roses, foliage and gilding over mainly black ground, 23cm high, (2), (a/f).
