Two Rockingham circular plaques in gesso frames, a Rockingham cylindrical spill vase with seaweed gilding and a Staffordshire porcelain swan. One plaque painted with still life study of grapes and signed J. Ross, 1829, the other, a factory waster, painted with an urn of flowers on a marble slab. The floral plaque is painted on the underside of a dish, the printed griffin mark shows through the enamelling of the urn. Frames 20.75cm diameter. Grapes plaque is actually a plaque or a box lid rather than a waster but is broken into three pieces. Floral plaque a waster showing flower decorating to the underside. Both frames damaged. Vase cracked and with gilt wear. Swan with loss to its wings.
A pair of Neo-Classical style mahogany fitted knife boxes of urn form in the manner of Robert Adam. With carved ram masks and husk swags. Raised on spreading circular acanthus bases over square plinths, 65cm. Action working on both but stay function not quite latching. Very minor wear and superficial knocks. One with notable loss to acanthus on base and to one rams ears.
An early 19th century French Neo-Classical style gilt bronze mantel clock of urn form and raised on a rosso antico marble plinth and with toupie feet. With enamel dial signed Gaston Joly, a Paris,. With 8 day two train cylinder movement striking on a bell 46cm high. One foot detached. No pendulum. Bell glued on. Bezel glass lacking. Some chips to the dial.
A 19th century twin handled cabinet cup and saucer. Gros bleu ground, gilded and with two cartouches one painted with a beehive and the other with flowers, possibly Shropshire. Along with a Capodimonte lidded urn moulded with Bacchanalian figures and painted in coloured enamels. Paris cup 14cm high. Paris cup with a hair crack. Capodimonte cover with glued knop.
