Two train, French brass drum movement strikes on one bell. Together with two urn shaped, metal mounted supporters with gilt metal sarcophagus mounts on platform bases. Clock is 45cm approx. A nineteenth century Anglo Indian coromandel fitted sewing box. With penwork ivory inlay to the inner cover depicting an urn overflowing with flowers. Having lift out super structure panelled with tortoiseshell and ivory, 45.5cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Large crack across the cover. Two strips of ebony moulding missing from the inner cover. No key. Other splits and handles lacking to the inside. Some of the cover supports loose or lacking. The rectangular void above the fitted tray suggests that there was once another tray.
