A 16th Century Relief Carved Oak Romayne Panel depicting a profiled head of a lady; her hair dressed in a long plat looped around an intricate head-dress, encircled by a laurel wreath and suspended from swagged drapery with a fluted urn of foliage above and a cherub (lacking face) stood to one side. The panel drilled with perforations and framed in a later beaded surround, 18 ins x 12 ins (46 cms x 30 cms).

The cavetto moulded cornice above a cross-banded trunk door with shaped top inlaid with chequer stringing and an ebony & boxwood compass star, flanked by recessed fluted quarter columns. The moulded base having corresponding inlay and terminating on low bracket feet. 89 ins (226 cms) in height, 16½ ins (42 cms) wide, 9 ins (23 cms) deep.
