A gilt metal and faux white marble clock portico clock garniture,in the French taste, the clock with an eight day movement striking on a bell, surmounted by twin-handled urn, above a white enamel dial decorated with floral swags, flanked by two Doric columns, and a pair of twin-handled vases, clock 61cm highvases 46cm highCondition ReportMinor wear to the enamel dial. Small nibbles to the edges of the marble. Some oxidisation to the brass around the dial. One of the feet has come off one of the conforming vases and is held on by selotape.
Pair George III silver telescopic candlesticks, with floral decoration, round urn candle holders and separate sconces, on stepped circular bases (Sheffield 1817) Thomas Watson & Co. 21cm extended.General overall condition good, some surface scratching, minor denting and wear, edges of bases are slightly distorted, sconce borders are slightly distorted, telescopic mechanism works on both sticks, no evidence of major damage or repair, bases are weighted. Victorian silver inkstand of boat shaped form, with bead edge and scroll handles, centrally mounted wafer box, with separate urn taper stick and snuffer and a pair of silver mounted cut glass ink bottles, on four fluted feet (London 1885) William Hutton & Sons. Approximately 14ozs. 24cm acrossGeneral overall condition good, some minor surface scratching, all four feet on base are very slightly pushed in and underside is scratched where mounting nuts have been tightened, both inkwells are very good, silver mounts undamaged, glass no cracks or chips, taperstick is also good, top mounted urn is very slightly pushed in. Hall marks clear.
