King only wrote the dedication and was the engraver of the plates.Provenance: David Garrick (his gilt initial "D" headed by eagle to foot of spine).

A pair of Revere Silversmiths sterling silver casters of urn form; one other smaller hallmarked silver caster and a silver-mounted conical glass cruet / whiskey tot (4)Condition Report: The whiskey tot - the hinge is a little loose and as such the lid slides to the left/right horizontally because it has been broken at hinge area. The flat top lid is slightly rippled and undulated. Some slight scratches visible inside the lid. some dark area of tarnish and the makers mark is rubbed, other marks visible. Small amount of scratching to the underside of the glass commensurate to usage, handle in good order and glass/silver near the lid in good condition.
A George III silver coffee pot, urn form with bulbous body, curved spout, pedestal base, bright-cut engraved decoration and turned wood mounts, no maker's mark, hallmarks London 1800, height 27cm, 26.2oz grossGeneral wear and light surface abrasions, possible repair on hinge of lid, a 1cm surface split on the shoulder along with a couple of tiny surface holes beginning to open on the high points of edges but they do not appear to go through to the inside, body has a couple of very minor dents, the spout has one small dent near the opening, one side of body has engraved emblem of arms holding halberds, no maker's mark, hallmarks on base are clear.
