A French Louis XIV style ormolu eight-branch chandelier in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle, the suspension ring above urn-shaped column decorated with applied cherub mask caryatids and applied acanthus leaf brackets below, each numbered scrolling arm decorated with acanthus leaves and supporting leaf moulded drip pans and turned sconces, the base decorated with female caryatids and further acanthus leaf moulding, terminating in a leaf moulded and floral finial, approximately 38in. high x 37 1/2in. diameter, complete with ornate moulded thirteen link suspension chain, 25in. long.

CONDITION REPORT: Minor surface scratches to the circular top, minor indent to left hand side of reeded border, minor grazes to legs, no breaks the 2nd stand minor scratches to top, grazes to left edge, some rubbing to gilt, minor grazes to legs, no breaks or restorations, 20th century reproduction.

A Pair of George III Silver Chambersticks, John Hutson, London 1792, the circular pans with a reeded border, openwork stems, urn shaped capital removable nozzle, with original extinguishers, engraved with a crest, being a ram couchant, 17cm wide, 20oz 2dwt all in Marked to underside of pan, extinguisher and nozzle. All marks match. Some typical signs of wear and mis-shaping throughout (commensurate with age and use).

Marks partially worn but still clear. Covers slightly miss shapen but in overall good condition.
