An elegant Alabaster/white marble cased Mantel Clock of French design having ormolu/gilt mounts, the face with a garland of flowers a bow over, flanked by scrolls with foliage and flower heads, the urn pediment having horned rams' heads and swags, the enamel face having Roman numerals, two winding apertures and marked ''Bevan & Weare, Birkenhead'', and with regulator above the 12, the brass two-train movement by Japy Freres striking on a bell and numbered 3626. Running and complete with key and pendulum. 36.2 cm wide x 45.5 cm high excluding the contemporary base and glass dome.

A George III silver egg cruet, by Lewis Pantin Jnr III, London 1799, the quatrefoil frame raised on four ball feet, surmounted by a fixed salt pot, the urn shape egg cups, Lewis Pantin Jnr III over striking another, with reeded waist band and foot, crested, together with a set of four Victorian Old English egg spoons, London 1852, height 17cm, weight 19.5oz. Pantin was a sixth generation Huguenot silversmith whose family originally came from Rouen circa 1650.
