A French giltwood wall mirror in Louis XVI style, the rectangular central plate flanked by marginal plates to a moulded frame, with an urn of flowers, surmount and conforming finials, late 19th century, 178.5 x 99cm. Lot 210 – Louis XVI style wall mirror. There are some old chips and losses to the carved decoration on the surmount with some old breaks which have been repaired where the flowers meet the urn and the sections that run own into the flowers have been repaired. Some old breaks and repairs tot eh flower swags. Some old cracks visible to the bases of the urns on the left and right sides and some old cracking to the moulding on the inner frame. Some overall wear to gilding to high points and some small nicks and chips to the edges. Some spotting to the plate but overall the plate is good. The mirror is very attractive and with a little bit of TLC will be in good condition.
A set of four Victorian silvered brass twin branch wall lights by Richard Evered & Son, each with an oval back plate and a faceted tapering stem with an urn surmount with scroll arms and turned sconces, the back plate stamped a shield, 'R E & S', 30.1cm high, 31cm wide. (4)Provenance: Sir Henry Russell Hornby, Bt, (1888-1971), 2nd Baronet of Brookhouse, of Barraclough, Clitheroe, Lancashire and thence by descent. The company of Richard Evered & Sons was founded in Birmingham in 1809, they exhibited at The Great Exhibition in 1851.
A pair of French gilt spelter and Sèvres style porcelain urns in Louis XVI style, painted with panels of birds and flowers, each on a giltwood base, late 19th century, 31.6cm high, 13.8cm wide. (2) Lot 352 – French Sèvres style urns. 1. Overall wear to the gilding. One leaf loop section is missing to the top of the urn. Slight wear to paint and gilding on porcelain, the base stamped ‘PELMOUREY’, small dents to edges of base. 2. Some wear to gilding, and minor wear to gilding on porcelain and the painted panels. Again stamped ‘PELMOUREY’. Minor surface wear and minor dents and marks consistent with use and age but generally in good condition.
A late 18th century French Provence walnut buffet a glissant, the raised top with a pair of panelled sliding doors flanking a central cupboard, the door with an iron lock plate and carved with leaves and flowers, with a serpentine edge above carved panels of flowers and foliage above a pair of panelled doors, enclosing a converted interior with mahogany drawers, the base centred an urn on cabriole legs carved with leaves and scroll toes, 142.9cm high, 138cm wide, 60cm deep.
A teak and anodized copper table lamp, probably Danish, mid 20th century, with conical anodized cooper shade, supported by an inner urn form opaque glass shade, above a teak and anodized copper tapering lamp base, approx 48cm, together with a mid century chrome table lamp with pivoting arm and anglepoise painted metal shade, approx 46cm. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Teak and anodized copper lamp: Copper shade with minor dents and surface scratches. Inner glass shade with chips to foot collar where it screws to lamp base. Copper lamp base border with dents. Chrome lamp: Repainted section to white shade. Chrome with age related surface scratches but no pitting.

Double fusee chain movement, striking hours on a bell and quarter hours on eight bells, pull repeat. The arched case surmounted with a classical urn with applied gilt foliate decoration, matching ball feet, the sides with gilt ring pull handles, pierced arched brass strikes (case and movement needs cleaning/restoration) 68cms height x 35cms long x 18cms wide approx.
