A 19th century mahogany bowfront stick barometer by Gill & Co, the swanneck pediment above signed silvered register, bowfronted thermometer below, with urn shape cistern cover 100cm (39in) Provenance: T G Blackwell Collection, Langham Hall, Norfolk few chips and losses to some edge mouldings.
A small 19th century Dutch marquetry chest, with shaped outline top, inlaid with an urn and festoon of flowers, canted moulded sides, fitted four drawers, with brass handles, shaped apron, on bun feet 79 x 86 x 52cm (31 x 34 x 20in) Timber shrinkage to one end panel and the top with some veneer repairs, evidence of handle and escutcheon changes.
An 18th century carved limewood console, with veined white marble top, decorated with carved floral garlands, leaf carved bracket legs united by carved stretchers with floral urn boss 99 x 147 x 41cm (39 x 57 x 16in) The timber was probably painted or gilded and is not finished in any way. The marble is not cracked or repaired

BRADMAN DON: (1908-2001) Australian Cricketer. Signed 3.5 x 5 photograph of Bradman in a full length action pose with his cricket bat. Signed in bold black ink with his name alone across a largely clear area at the centre of the image. Together with a colour 4 x 6 postcard photograph of the famous Urn containing the ashes of a bail, with its embroidered velvet bag, as presented by the English cricket team to the Australians in 1882-83, issued for the Centenary of the Ashes 1882-1982, signed by Bradman in black ink with his name alone to a clear area at the base of the image. Also including a colour postcard photograph, the image being a panoramic view of Lord's cricket ground, signed by Bradman in blue ink with his name alone to the verso. BRADMAN DON: (1908-2001) Australian Cricketer. An interesting T.L.S., Don Bradman, one page, 8vo, n.p., 17th July 1985, to Mr. Haigh. Bradman states that he has been pleased to sign various items for his correspondent and continues 'With regard to the innings I played in Yorkshire, I enclose a list. (no longer present) I have included Scarborough where we played Festival Matches because I believe it to be within the County.' Bradman further remarks 'Whilst pleased to give you that information I'm afraid it would be better if I did not give you my views on Jardine. They are not so pleasant'. Together with a colour 4 x 6 postcard photograph of the famous Urn containing the ashes of a bail, with its embroidered velvet bag, as presented by the English cricket team to the Australians in 1882-83, issued for the Centenary of the Ashes 1882-1982, signed by Bradman in blue ink with his name alone to a clear area of the image.
