An ormolu mantel clock, late 19th century, the case with an urn finial over applied ribbons, cast foliate handles and ornate feet, inset with Sèvres-style panels, the dial decorated with a pair of birds within a pink border, the panels with musical trophies and stylised foliage, the panels inscribed 'Rose' to the reverse, the movement stamped 'B&C', 30cm high, on a wooden base CONDITION REPORT: One handle detached. Minor rubbing. Base repainted.
A French ormolu mantel clock, late 19th century, the case surmounted by an urn over applied ribbons, female masks and foliage, and inset with Sèvres-style panels, the dial decorated with a cherub within a turquoise border, the drum movement, striking on a bell, impressed 'G. Philippe Palais Royal 67-46', the porcelain panels inscribed verso 'tuug(?) B 186' with a separate painted base, 27cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT: Front feet a little bent. A hole between the two porcelain panels suggests a mount is missing.
