A late 19c French four glass mantel clock in glazed brass case inlaid with blue ground champlevé enamel and surmounted by an urn. The case has freestanding columns to the corners and there is an enamel band around the dial rim and on the pendulum. the dial is gilt with Arabic numerals and an enamel centre. The movement is rack striking on a gong and has a compensated false mercury pendulum. The clock stands 38cms h.
A mid Victorian silver sugar caster of baluster form with fox head side mounts. Flared and engraved upper rim with pierced dome cover and urn finial supported on circular stepped embossed base with chased and cast leaf formed collar. Makers mark for Edward Ker Reid, London 1867. 16.5cms h. 7.75ozt.
Late 19c French Garniture de Cheminée comprising a clock and two urns. The clock has a rectangular round topped brass case surmounted by an urn and the porcelain dial and panel below it are decorated with butterflies and foliage and the case has bronzed highlights to some of the decoration. The movement has rack striking on a gong and is stamped A.B. for Achille Brocot. The urns have cream porcelain bodies similarly decorated with butterflies and foliage and the bases and tops are of brass with bronze decoration. Clock stands 35.5cms h.

Good 19th Century French ebony and boullework dressing or vanity case, the hinged cartouche-form cover inlaid with an urn issuing flowers within scroll work, enclosing a fitted interior with twin scent bottle apertures and pin cushion, labelled beneath 'Ancienne Maison Rousseau De La Rue, Papetier, Rue du F'bg. St. Honoré No. 60 Paris, body externally having matching foliate scroll decoration and gilt mounts, 31cm x 22cm x 12.5cm high Condition: Two very minor cracks to back edge of lid panel, and also three small cracks to the front edge of panel.
