A 19th Century longcase clock, by Wm Parkes Retford, with eight day movement the painted dial with cottage and figure to the arch and floral spandrels, date aperture, in oak and mahogany cross banded case, the hood with phoenix finial and swan neck pediment over fluted columns with gilt capitals, the arched door inlaid with urn of flowers, the panelled base inlaid with a conch shell, on shaped bracket feet, 93" high.

A late 19th century Sheraton Revival satinwood wardrobe, having a moulded cornice above a crossbanded ribbon and bellflower decorated frieze in turn above a pair of panelled doors with further urn and florentine marquetry with crossbanded and strung borders with moulding below raised on bracket feet. A French Marble Portico Mantel Clock, signed Cachard, Sucr de ChLeRoi, circa 1790], the drum shaped case with urn finial, flanked by the black marble and ormolu foliate apron, 4-1/2-inch white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapter signed "Cachard, Sucr de ChLeRoi", twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, 53cm high *Cachard was a famous maker in Paris during the last 20 years of the 18th century and was successor to the firm of Charles LeRoy. Similar clocks by the same maker are today exhibited in the Garde Meuble in Paris, Chateau de la Malmaison and the Hamburg Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe.

A set of three George II silver double lipped sauce boats by Thomas Gilpin of oval lobed form with scoll and shell edge with double scrolled handles on a reeded pedastal foot engraved with crest maker’s mark T G in script beneath an urn with an etoile London 1754 one set of hallmarks slightly scored. With a similar double lipped sauce boat engraved with the same crests and apparently unmarked overall height 11.5cm gross weight 64 oz The crests are of an ash tree between two coronets the crest of the Earls Ashburnham (created 1730 extinct 1924)
