A 19th Century French ormolu bronze mantel clock / bracket clock in the manner of Japy Freres. The clock with central decorative gilt dial with black Roman numeral chapter ring and faceted hands. The case set with scrolled spandrels, applied scrollwork and case with acanthus leaf detailing. The top surmounted by a large urn finial and the case flanked by large lion mask handles. Raised on paw and bun feet and set on a period carved stepped plinth. Pendulum present. Strikes on a bell. No visible makers mark. Measures approx; 43cm x 23cm x 16cm.
