Features nickel urn shaped pommel & winged guard with rotating swastika panels, with dark blue leather grip. Excellent condition 17.5 cm long maker marked blade, retaining leather washer. Blade fits well into the nickel & leather scabbard, showing light wear overall, retaining suspension ring & hanger, with slightly dented ball. Scarce 1st type dagger.
Steel 3-branched guard, with engraved quillon, bevelled urn pommel & plain backstrap. Fish skin grip with wire wrap. 83 cm long, slightly curved steel blade shows etchings to 3/4 length of both sides, with Volunteer Artillery motto & cannon, V.R. royal cypher & trophies of arms, etc., being very fine overall. Some areas of age staining and light wear, but generally very good. Metal service scabbard retains both suspension rings, with outside metal furniture being heavily toned overall. Overall length: 99 cm.
Gilt-finished, brass-pierced 3-branched guard, with central royal cypher, bevelled urn pommel, folding langet & floral backstrap. Fish skin grip with wire wrap, with wrapped leather portepee knot. 82 cm long, slightly curved steel blade shows etchings to 2/3 length of both sides, with crown, V.R. royal cypher & trophies of arms, etc., being very fine overall. Toned to blade, which could do with a good clean, but generally very good. Leather & gilded brass service scabbard retains both suspension rings, with full red leather & white metal hanging straps/belts. Overall length: 100 cm.
A very good quality 19th Century marquetry inlaid walnut pier cabinet with ormulu beading and mounts, the single door decorated with a flowering urn enclosing a fitted interior of three drawers and pigeon hole - standing 111cm H x 87cm W x 43cm D - an impressive piece of furniture in good order and condition with good colour
