A VERY LARGE BRONZE FIGURAL JARDINIÈRE, the lidded two handled urn cast with scrolling foliage, supported by the figure of a putto standing on a naturalistic base, the integral plinth cast with scrolls, masks and shells. 152cm highCONDITION REPORTThe piece is made from bronze. There has probably been some re-gilding at some point. The piece is in generally very good condition commensurate with age.

A George III silver pedestal basket, or ice pail, the beaded upper rim above a pierced and chased body centred on four sides with a classical urn, the hinged handle with bead decoration, raised on a circular foot with beaded rim, marks rubbed but possibly London 1771, with shaped blue glass liner, 11.5 by 12 by 17.5cm high, 11.2cm with handle lowered, 7.19toz.

The Lord of the Rings - Dwarf Urn constructed from clay and used as set dressing around Moria, 8 x 8 x 8 inches approximately. Provenance: The vendor owned an event planning company in the early 1990s until 2008. They organised the Lord of the Rings Cannes Press Festival in 2001. New Line chairman Bob Shaye and Dir. P. Jackson presented 25 minutes of footage from the film, which featured a montage introducing key characters, as well as a 14-minute excerpt of a chase sequence in the Mines of Moria and previews of the second and third installments of the trilogy, due in December 2002 and 2003, respectively.The event culminated in a party that was held at the Chateau de Castellaras near the town of Mougins, where they reconstructed a lot of the sets and displayed set dressings and props from the actual movies (flown in especially from New Zealand).After the event, everything was deconstructed and sent back to NZ but the vendors got the permission to keep these few items as a gift.
