A finely knotted Iranian silk Garden rug, worked with a central field of 40 square compartments each with alternating brick red and cream ground floral mihrab, urn, ewer and vase motifs, the border with a continuous band of vases and urns in scrolling flowers, 146cm x 102cm, (one fringe trimmed to 1 inch)

Stringing to bottom of base approx. 20% missing. Otherwise externally good with minor scuffs only. Mechanism and catch good. Interior complete. Two modern screws inserted to base of mechanism and wooden plate split. Satinwood veneer to lip loose, some replace sections.
