A French gilt brass mantel clock With a 8cm dial inset with white enamel cartouches, Roman numerals, the two train key wound movement No: 14357 striking on a saucer bell, the case surmounted with a spirally fluted urn with a fruit finial and pendant leaves above a panel cast with pendant leaves and flowers embraced by four fluted columns raised upon a plinth base with outset angles, terminating in toupee feet, the rear door with a gilt bevelled glass door. 34.5x22x13cms.
A Victorian carved oak bracket clock signed W & H Sch. With a 14.5cm brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, winged mask spandrels, the two-train eight-day movement stamped W R Patent, W & H for Winterhalder & Hofmeier, striking on a coiled gong, the case with a domed top carved with scale, urn finial above a blind fretwork carved frieze, baluster columns raised upon a plinth base and turned feet with two hinged side doors with fretwork panels, the rear door with a brass fretted panel door. 62x31x19cm with pendulum. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2114 - Some shrinkage to the top, and angles between the scale carving, some discolouration to the front finials, front finial possibly original although the different designs to the front two, some discolouration to the dial requires polishing, minor scratching to the brass outer dial, glass good condition, hinge sound, fretwork panels good condition, some rusting to the two gongs, running but not running for duration, with pendulum.
A late 19th Century walnut mantel clock With a 10cm convex white dial with Roman numerals, blued hands, the two train key wound movement striking on a saucer bell, hour and half hour strike, the case with a broken arch pediment centred with an urn above a plain frieze with a gilt brass door with bevelled glass flanked by turned columns raised upon a stepped plinth base and toupie feet. 29.5x21x13.5cms with key and pendulum.
A choice Edwardian inlaid mahogany urn stand The square top with canted angles and a moulded border and a frieze finally inlaid with ribbon tied hair bells, outswept supports joined by a shelf and a cross stretcher. 99x39 CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2278 - shaped top minor surface scratching to polish inlay to frieze good condition, splay legs good condition no breaks, slight shrinkage between the cross stretcher which requires tightening or gluing, good condition.

A fine late 19th Century French porcelain and ormolu clock garniture The clock with a 9cm porcelain dial signed J Muirhead & Sons, Paris against a roundel painted with birds in flight and a garland of blooms, gilt hands, Roman numerals painted within gilt cartouche frames the two train Japy Frere movement, awarded Grande Medaille D'Honneur, No: 1490 7.7, initialled within an oval A.F striking on a saucer bell, the fine gilt metal case surmounted with porcelain urn with a leaf and fruit finial embraced by scrolling leafy handles above a ribbon tied beaded dial and a shaped porcelain panel painted with beauties seated at a table within a white beaded border frame flanked by leaf and scroll capped columns the breakfront plinth cast with leaves above a shaped panel painted with winged cherubs, laurel leaf cast plinth raised upon four beaded tapering feet. 43cms, and a pair of conforming ormolu and porcelain urns each painted with beauties a gentleman and his companion and panels with a seated gentleman and his lady, raised upon conforming beaded feet each with a gilt wood and blue beige plinth and a shaped rectangular ebonised plinth, 36.5cms excluding plinths, the clock under a glazed dome, one urn under a dome, one lacking, with pendulum and an associated key. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2129 The ebonised case, some scratching and rubbing to the angles on the rectangular stepped plinth beneath the bell shape top, brass urn finials old but possibly replaced, the glass to glazed front door possibly replaced, red backing material behind spandrels replaced, top hinge has been re fixed and a piece of ebonised wood has been inset to the left of the hinge. Some scratching overall to the ebonised case. The movement, please note should read verge escapement. Replaced hammer, pendulum possibly later. Movement working, red velvet panels replaced behind fret work. With winding key front and back door keys.
