Pair of Nantgarw-style porcelain vases, early 19th century, urn shaped form with twin scrolled handles, painted with floral bouquets, square bases, (restored), height 31cm.Qty: 2Condition report:Both vases are unmarked. One of the underside of the bases has been partially flooded with quite a grey hard paste substance and it looks as though the bolt has been replaced holding the pedestal to the main body. Small shallow chips to surrounding the baseline of both bases. The main vase bodies are in good condition, as are the handles, and necks/ rims. Some rubbing and wear to the gilding. The black overglaze to the pedestal bases is flaking revealing the white porcelain body below in places.
