Metal lamp with Chinese elements. The central figure is a mythical chimera called a qilin 骑楼, often employed as a tomb guardian. A qilin has a dragon-like head, hooved feet, a deer-like body embellished with fish scales; it is gentle and considered an auspicious omen.On the other side of the lamp is a phoenix -- also a mythical creature. The qilin and the phoenix are two of four sacred animals (the others being dragon and turtle).This lamp is in the shape of an urn with handles. Unknown as to working condition.Size: 16 x 8 in.

A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Peter Clare, Manchester, circa 1780, swan neck pediment with a gilt painted front aperture with urn and scroll decoration, pierced blind fret borders, crossbanded trunk door flanked by fluted pilasters, plinth with a raised quatre form panel, 13-1/2-inch arch brass dial, scroll engraved dial centre with two dials for seconds and date, arch with moonphase aperture, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 262cm high see illustration 01.10.20 Case with small chips in parts, hood door glass is cracked, trunk door is slightly faded, trunk door with scratches to the bottom side, right hand side pierced blind fret with a small portion missing, dial is discoloured, minute hand is broken and half of the hand is missing, movement is dirty, bottom front plate of the movement with one vacant hole, moon disc has no drive at present and does not work, with two weights and a pendulum.

Quadruple sconces protruding out with acanthus leaf and floral swag decoration to the arms with stem below. Measures 107cm x 41cm.

An impressive 19th Century Victorian antique large oak cased table clock housing a Winterholder & Hoffmeier brass eight day movement. The oak case having a raised pediment with gilt metal urn finial above and further urn finials to each corner, with floral swags to the slip. Brass face having Roman numeral chapter ring a twin subsidiary dials above, with applied interspersed brass floral and cherub face decoration. All housed behind a glazed door having brass cherub face corners flanked by figures to each side. Raised on gilt swag and claw feet below and central mask decoration. Measures 72cm x 38.5cm x 29cm.
A fine 19th Century English antique Adams ceramic urn and cover in the manner of Flaxman for Wedgwood. The urn having celeste colour finish with a small cover atop having a pineapple finial with a waisted reeded neck and rams head handles to each side. Moulded grape vine swag decoration with acanthus leaf decoration below. All raised on a circular foot. Measures 30cm x 18cm x 12cm.

Comprising a ginger jar with red lacquered interio turned wooden lid, the other of squat urn shape with finial lid. Both with concentric blue circles to bases. Measures: 20cm & 17cm.
