A Swiss gold enamel and pearl snuff box, Geneva, circa 1800, possibly by Jean-Joseph Isaac Bellamy, of circular form, the cover, sides and base with translucent royal blue enamel applied with gold, scrolls and arabesques, heightened with red and green details, and white enamel stringing, the cover centred with an oval enamel panel painted to depict young couple, framed by a split pearl border, the base depicting an urn with birds, within outer chased and enamelled borders, numbered inside lid ‘136001’, maker’s marks indistinct, diameter 5.9cm. £3000-£4,000 --- Condition Report Small area of enamel loss to the edge of the central panel of the lid, slight surface wear visible to the base panel, some slight white enamel losses and tiny grazes to the blue enamel. A 19th century French ormolu and Sevres style porcelain clock garniture, the mantel clock with floral painted urn finial and jewelled dial decorated with cherubs, the side panels with landscape vistas, Japy Freres eight day movement striking on a bell, accompanied by a pair of near matching three light candelabra with ivy pattern extinguishers and floral painted base columns, clock 19cm wide, 15cm deep, 37cm high candelabra 19cm wide, 30.5cm high***CONDITION REPORT***Clock and candelabra in honest slightly neglected condition, ormolu to the clock slightly matted with oxidisation pitting and dust dirt, some jewelling missing from the front plaque, slight rubbing to the gilding on all three plaques, movement looks complete and comes with pendulum and associated winding key, not tested for timekeeping.
