Meyer, as a lady wearing a white coat patterned with indianische Blumen over a puce skirt, holding a large exotic bird on her arm, its tail being pulled by a small boy wearing a yellow-sashed white patterned coat, kneeling with a basket of figs, the lady's right elbow being tugged by a small boy wearing a yellow-lined blue coat, to the lady's left an urn with a plant, on a low mound base with encrusted blue and puce coloured flowers and green leaves crossed swords in underglaze-blue 15cm., 6in. some damage See footnote to previous lot
A pair of Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester pastille burners and covers circa 1815 of two-handled urn-shape raised on a square pedestal, painted with a continuous band of flowers between gilt banding against a burgundy ground flanked by gilt goats heads, the horns of which form twin handles on the beaded rims, the covers pierced with diamonds and circles surmounted by a gilt cherub holding a flaming torch puce script mark 14.5cm., 5Nin. high damage and repair to finials (4)
A fine pair of Royal Crown Derby two-handled pedestal vases circa 1904 by Desire Leroy, signed, of urn-shape raised on square pedestal bases, painted with a floral bouquet within a scroll and shell tooled and raised gilt frame against a cobalt-blue ground, a raised and tooled solid gilt band to the necks with turquoise and white enamelled foliate details, the feet and bases with further rich gilt detailing and turquoise and white enamelled 'jewelling' against green-gound panels, scroll handles puce-printed factory marks and date cypher, red script pattern number 410 shape number 1417 17.8cm., 7in. high minor restoration to one handle (2)

An unusual Georgian Light Company Infantry officer's sword, c 1785; curved fullered blade 29", etched blued and gilt with crowned "GR", scrolls, and "Knubley, Charing Cross", 5 ball steel stirrup hilt with extra scrolled 5 ball knucklebow and urn pommel, ribbed ivory grip, in its steel mounted leather scabbard, the locket punched "Knubley, No 7, Charing Cross, London". A good late 18th century officer's dress smallsword, hollow triangular blade 34 3/4", etched blued and gilt with trophy of arms and scrolls, and with simulated damascus pattern for the rest of its length, gilt hilt with engraved guard, slightly down turned quillons, and urn pommel, the guard, quillon terminals and pommel mounted with facetted steel beads, the chain knuckleow also formed of facetted steel beads, copper wire bound grip, in its engraved gilt brass mounted white painted parchment covered scabbard, the locket engraved "Langford, No 50, Fleet Street". A fine quality 19th Century Dutch marquetry breakfront commode, the top ornately decorated with flowers, leaves, birds, scrolls and a two-handled urn, fitted a single drawer to the frieze above two deep drawers with ornate moulded gilt metal handles and lock escutcheons, with a single drawer to the side and further ornate marquetry panels, raised on scrolling legs terminating in gilt metal feet, 24in. x 59in. x 35in. high.
A Masons Ironstone part dessert service decorated a Japan pattern comprising: a 10 1/2in. oblong compote with shaped border; a pair of 6 3/4in. two-handled urn-shaped sauce tureens (no covers); four 10in. single-handle heart-shaped dishes; a pair of 9 3/4in. oval dishes; a 9 1/2in. oblong dish; and sixteen 8 1/2in. dessert plates, blue printed and impressed marks.
