An early rare Steiff centre seam cinnamon mohair Teddy Bear, circa 1908, straw stuffed with black boot button eyes, stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed elongated limbs, felt pads, hump to back and wearing a blue bow, overall excellent bright condition, some very minor wear, lacks button, 15 ¾” (40cm) tall.
A composition Shirley Temple doll, 1930’s, with weighted green/hazel eyes, lashes and open smiling mouth with teeth, dimples to cheeks and blonde curly hair with pink bow, swivel head to five piece body and wearing a white net dress with pink trim, socks and shoes, (eyes a little cloudy, very slight crazing) 22” (56cm) tall.
Two large Chad Valley golden mohair Teddy Bears, circa 1955, larger bear with glass eyes and rexine pads, smaller bear with plastic eyes and velveteen pads, both with bulbous stitched noses and mouths, swivel necks and jointed at shoulder and hips, post coronation labels to feet, both in excellent overall condition, 24” and 28” (61 and 71cm) tall, together with a large 1960s Chad Valley Bear Brand Advertising bear, with label, blue bow and top hat, 30” (76cm) tall, (3 items).
