The top having a gilt brass gallery rail screwed into three baluster uprights surmounted by urn finials and measuring 48 ins (122 cms) in width. The frieze drawer above an arched kneehole flanked by deep cellaret drawers retaining their original ring handles on lion-mask mounts and raised on six ring-turned tapering legs inlaid with vertical strings.
