The front surface painted with polychrome decorations on black ground, depicting various hunting scenes, with two hunters on dromedary back and two hunters on horseback, one with a lance and a hawk, the other with a bow, together with effigies of tigers, deers, dogs and other animals; at the centre, within a circle, another hunter on horseback. A rare suit of quiver and bow case dating: 18th Century provenance: Tibet Quiver of almost rectangular shape, consisting of folded layers of fabric, the external surface covered with red velvet (partially worn), bordered with leather (small defects) decorated at the margins with a series of brass plaques featuring bas-relieved floral motifs and flower-shaped brass buttons, at the centre three brass ideograms and a black leather embroidered symbol enriched by brass studs decorated en suite with the other mounts; also provided with lateral valve fixed with metallic hooks, covered in leather and velvet too. The case of the bow consists in two leather valves of almost triangular shape, joined at the back, externally covered with red velvet (slightly worn), with black leather borders, enriched with floral plaques, at the centre of the front part the same circular symbol featured on the quiver. dimensions: height 27 - 54 cm.
