French Silver Mounted Double Barrel 24-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistol reconverted from percussion, barrels with a little floral decoration retaining faint traces of gilding, fullstock carved behind the barrel tang and now with hardwood fore end, silver mounts comprising a grotesque mask buttcap and trigger guard with trophy engraved bow, the latter with French hall marks, stock with a little silver wire inlay. Barrels 20cms, overall 34cms. Good condition, ramrod restored, some age wear.

Proclaim the good tidings to the faithful. Oh Muhammad! Oh Victorious!’ Silver gilt mounts of good quality, each chased in relief with flowers and a quiver, flaming torch, fasces and bow and arrows, all joined with ribbons, and struck with tughras, 2 piece rhino horn grips, in its black leather covered scabbard with elaborate mounts en-suite. Fine Indian Sword Khanda, 18th or early 19th century, broad double edge blade slightly swollen towards the tip, the root and back edge mostly covered with iron reinforcing plates chiselled with flowering foliage, iron hilt with thick gold damascened decoration, broad knuckle bow, langets with pierced foliate brackets, forward-facing pommel spike, later crimson velvet-covered hilt liner, in its later green velvet-covered wooden scabbard with original (?) gilt silver hanging band and chape pierced with a lotus flower. Scarce Sikh Sword Tulwar, mid-19th century, curved single edge bright steel blade with yelman, iron hilt of Punjabi (Lahori) form, swollen fluted grip, segmented pommel disc, covered with gold damascened flowering foliage and geometric designs, inside of knuckle bow with gold damascened inscription (not translated), in later red fabric covered scabbard with plain iron chape. Good condition, a little wear to damascene. Blade 81cms.
Rare Indian Mughal All-Iron Dagger Khanjar c.1620, curved double edge blade with raised central rib, integral hilt comprising swollen octagonal grip, roof-shaped pommel with stylised animal head finials one retaining a small iron loop for a tassel, knuckle bow with horse head finial emanates from an elephant’s trunk, whorled pommel button, traces of gold damascened decoration overall. Good condition for age, rusted overall and requires careful cleaning. Overall 34.5cms.
Fine Quality Mughal Indian Jade Hilt Dagger Chilanum, 17th Century, recurved double edge blade with socket at the forte to accept and secure a protrusion from the hilt, 3 part hilt of blue-grey coloured jade very finely carved with a guard having bud finials, hilt with turned central device to the grip, foliate carved knuckle bow, foliate pommel arms, and separate turned swollen pommel finial, in its sheath with pierced silvered mounts, covered with red velvet. Good condition, blade worn. Blade 24cms.
Indian Recurved Bow Koman, Probably 18th or 19th Century, broad limbs retaining some red and black painted decoration with white, yellow and green painted foliage, retaining both nocks, sinew bowstring (broken) and 49 reed arrows with assorted iron heads, painted bindings and tops. Quite good condition with some wear overall. Bow 69cms, arrows average 73cms
^ Scarce Moghul Recurved Steel Bow Koman, 18th or 19th Century, of plain steel with riveted hardwood grips covered with brocade, original sinew string; together with a rare Moghul leather quiver, belt and tassels of similar date, covered with red velvet and bullion embroidered with flowers and foliage, containing 20 Indian reed arrows of similar date comprising 17 with katar-shaped iron heads and 3 with leaf-shaped heads, each with an ivory nock, bands of silver, chequered ivory and ebony surrounding the head tangs, and assorted painted decoration around the (missing) flights. Good condition. Bow 102.5cms.
Unusual Afghan Khyber Knife, 19th Century, T-section blade with short inscription cut with a single narrow fuller, iron crosspiece and knuckle bow with silver damascened seeing eye, 2 piece bone grips with circular decoration, in its leather covered scabbard. Blade 43cms, overall 55cms. Good condition, top of pommel damaged.
Georgian Cavalry Officer’s Sword, curved flat single edge blade with false edge, etched overall with crowned royal arms (1801-16), crowned GR, figures of Justice and Britannia, foliage, flowers etc, brass stirrup hilt (knuckle bow missing), lion’s head pommel, wire bound fish skin covered grip. Blade 73cms, overall 86cms. Good untouched condition, age worn overall and requires cleaning.
^ Fine Georgian Naval or Infantry Officer’s Silver Hilt Sword c.1770-80, straight single edge blade gilt etched with crowned Royal Arms (pre-1801), crowned GIIIR, trophy of arms, foliate and rococo ornament, and J.J.Runkell Solingen along back edge, silver hilt (not hall marked), flat back gripstrap with engraved borders, knuckle bow swollen towards the pommel, narrow langets extending into the chequered ivory grips, quillon with stepped finial. Blade 81.5cms, overall 92.5cms. Good untouched condition and patina.

Typical minor scuffs and scratches here and there. Upper section appears over-varnished in some places. Generally very good condition. No key present.
