A 19TH CENTURY HANGER. A 19th century brass stirrup hilted hanger with curved 72cm single edged blade with a full length fuller. With a lion's head pommel and leather bound grip with a Light Infantry bugle affixed to the guard. The knuckle bow has been fashioned from a spoon handle with spurious silver marks. 85cm overall length.

A George III mahogany bowfront chest of drawers, circa 1800, the shaped top above a brushing slide and three long graduated drawers, flanked by reeded columns headed by acanthus carved terminals, on reeded turned tapering legs, 92.5cm high, 101cm wide, 57cm deep Condition Report: Minor marks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use.Old chips and splits.Good original surface. A high quality example of its type.The feet, rear panels, drawer Linings and locks are original. The key (s) are lacking some fading to the top and also some additional old scratching and old splits, including across the top of each front corner where bow shaped above the corresponding pilaster.The locks are original but keys are lacking. None of the drawers are locked.The handles are of the period and suit the chest well but appear to be replacements. Alternate hides are only visible to the interiors of the drawer fronts.Please refer to all additional images for visual reference to condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
