Chinese blue and white sauceboat, 18th century, after a Bow original, moulded and painted with flowers, length overall 15.5cm; also an octagonal blue and white jar painted with flowers and butterflies, apochryphal mark of Xuande, height 11.5cm; and a blue and white teapot with an associated lid, diameter 10cm. Condition report: sauce boat has minor frits, hairline to base and side; jar has a firing crack to the neck; the teapot has minor chips to the spout, the lid has extensive chips.
14k Waltham hunter pocket watch, circa 1918, white enamel arabic dial with subsidiary seconds, milled bezel, engine turned case 49mm,.585 gold cuvee, Waltham movement No. 21844802; together with a 9ct gold double Albert and bloodstone fob, *See clocks and watches proviso. Condition report: Albert 34g gross, length 34cm.. At the time of cataloguing the watch ticks, winds and adjusts; dial good, slight corrosion to the bluing, case has minor dents and rubbing to the turning; suspension bow is metal; gross weight 87.6g.
A Georgian pale blue paste parure in fitted case, the aquamarine coloured pastes, all claw set in closed back settings of yellow precious metal (tests for 14/15ct gold), comprising a graduated cushion cut rivière necklace with hidden box clasp and central stone with hook to take a pendant, length 43cm; a pair of bracelets of near uniform cushion cut stones with the same box clasps, each 18cm long, and which may be worn together as a necklace; two pendants / brooches (either of which fits on the necklace), the first a Latin cross form of eight pearcut pastes with bead terminations radiating from an oval-cushion cut stone, length with pendant loop 4.3cm; the other of girandole form with three pearcut stones radiating above a round cut stone and three pendant pearcuts with bead terminations, integral curved pin, length with loop 3.7cm; and also a smaller bow form brooch with a central cushion cut paste between pairs of narrow bead-ended pearcuts clasping final small round cut stones, length 3.2cm. The suite is presented in a 19th century red morocco shaped and fitted case

A magificent 19th century seed pearl parure in presentation case, comprising an ornate necklace, a large corsage or hair ornament set `en tremblant`, an oval brooch and a pair of long pendant earrings, set throughout with small pearls and seed pearls (all assumed to be natural) attached to fine pierced mother-of-pearl frames. The necklace with graduated alternating leaf and flower features leading to a large central flower; this same flower and the leaves repeated in the curved corsage ornament which also has buds, bell flowers and a bow, the brooch echoes the large flower, which is repeated in miniature in the earpendant hooks, the drops taking up the theme of the bell flowers; the necklace clasp is circular hairwork and small pearls; the corsage ornament is attached to a metal stalk and pin, the individual flowers and leaves on delicate mobile wires and the largest on a spring; approximate lengths - necklace 39cm, corsage 16.5cm,brooch 4.3cm, earrings 9cm. All in a splendid period shaped fitted leather case with velvet and satin lining. This parure has been in the same family for at least 160 years, and has come by descent through the female line from Elizabeth Cheesewright in the second quarter of the 19th century The case contains also various notes tracing its history: `For dear Kathleen on her 21st Birthday 9th June 1893 from her loving Mother, Sophia Curran - Great grand-mother`s* Pearls received on the death of Aunt Dighton in 1862 - for whom they were added to and remade as a Birthday gift by her first husband Frederick George Caudiest [?] about 1830. *Elizabeth Cheesewright ` `To my Darling Helen, With love and best wishes from Mother, for Many Happy returns of the Day, May 2nd 1952`
